Flash Pyrolysis vs Phase Pyrolysis
PTE uses rapid 'flash' pyrolysis at relatively high heat levels, used across a wide spectrum of feedstock, but the rapid heating can lead to lower product quality for feedstock that requires slower, more controlled heating and oxygen-free stabilization, resulting in less stable final product.
Technotherm's phased pyrolysis involves the process of heating material over a series of distinct phases, each with specific conditions, with much lower temperatures over a longer period. This results in significantly more stable and higher quality end products including Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fractions (Diesel, Naphtha).
